The Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation reported that 2,809 Afghan migrants returned from Iran through both voluntary and forced repatriation.

These migrants entered Afghanistan via the Islam Qala border crossing on Wednesday.

The ministry disclosed that 576 of the returnees were directed to the International Organisation for Migration to receive assistance.
