Sources informed Afghanistan International that Taliban officials have detained three sisters, who are women's rights activists, along with their brother, from the Dashte Barchi area in western Kabul and transferred them to an unknown location.

According to the sources, these three sisters are members of the Afghan Women's Justice Movement.

Sources close to the family of the detainees informed Afghanistan International that Taliban forces attacked their house in Dashte Barchi around 6pm on Wednesday.

Taliban forces detained these sisters named Azada Rezaei (25), Nadia Rezaei (17) and Elaha Rezaei (14), along with their brother, Yahya Rezaei (22).

Relatives of these girls have approached the 13th and 18th police districts and the Taliban's Ministry of Interior, but so far have been unable to find any clues about the whereabouts of the detained girls.

Previously, the Taliban had also detained Tamana Rezaei, the sister of these three women's rights activists, who was released after 29 days in the group's custody.
